Submitting a request for proposal (RFP)

Step 1: Company completes details of the matter and timings required. ProcureLaw’s matching software instantly generates a list of relevant law firms (based on country and city, practice area, sector, company turnover and number of employees)
Step 2: Company has the opportunity to remove any unsuitable law firms from the initial list
Step 3: Approved firms are then required to run a two stage conflicts check, initially viewing the company name, industry sector and practice area, followed by a summary of the client’s matter (excluding any sensitive information)
Step 4: These firms will then be asked to submit a tailored snapshot of their expertise explaining why they are qualified to undertake the work
Step 5: The client reviews each firm’s credentials and decides which ones will be invited to tender
Step 6: The final shortlist will receive the full RFP to compose a detailed bid
Step 7: Both client and firm will have the opportunity to ask questions via the site’s secure email messaging system
Step 8: All bids are submitted online in accordance with the client’s deadline
Step 9: Client evaluates each proposal and can arrange a meeting.
Step 10: Law firm is appointed
