Q: Can you give me information on how the site works?

Q: How secure is the information I submit on to the site?

A:ProcureLaw.com operates on a VeriSign approved 128 bit server, as used by the world’s largest banks. Your details can only be accessed via log in which requires password and memorable word.

Q: How confidential are the matter details I submit?

A:Your details can only be seen by the law firms you select to send to. You are also able to upload an NDA for the firms to accept before viewing your details. All RFPs submitted must first undergo a detailed two stage conflicts check, and only after a no conflict has been double confirmed are law firms able to view the full details of your matter.

Q: How much control do I have over the law firms the matter is sent to and the timings for responses?

A:Complete control. After you have submitted your matter details you are presented with the list of law firms matched to your requirements. At this stage you can view the profiles of each firm and select which firms the matter is sent to. You also set the timings for each stage of the process.

Q: How detailed are the bids sent back to me?

Very detailed. The law firm is given 6 detailed sections to complete:

  • Knowledge and Experience
  • Proposed Fee Structure and proposed fee (details of hourly rates, fixed fees, and any alternative fee structures)
  • Legal Personnel of the firm designated to this RFP (details of the lead lawyer and other lawyers involved)
  • Legal entity and professional/other information about the Firm (full details of the firm, the firm’s accountants and bankers, and a range of policies and standards documents, and details of the insurances carried by the firm)
  • Technology (details of information and technology systems for the RFP)
  • Other information about the Firm (summary of other matters relevant for this RFP)

Q: How precise is ProcureLaw.com at targeting specific types of company?

A: Your online account will allow you to target companies by country, city, practice area, sector, and for each sector the range of company turnover required and number of employees. These settings can also be amended at any time as often as you require.
